Asphalt and car parks

Tarmac driveways, commercial car parks, access roads and industrial yards, from base works to final line marking.

Tarmac is still the workhorse of hard surfacing: fast to lay, tough under traffic, and cost effective over large areas. We lay residential driveways and commercial car parks with the same discipline as our resin work: a properly graded base, compacted in layers, edged and drained.

In Dubai the enemy of tarmac is heat combined with base failure. Ground that was compacted cheaply moves, and the surface above it cracks and potholes. We start at the sub-base, not at the surface. Regrade, compact to spec, then lay and roll in stages.

For commercial work we add our line marking service: bays, arrows, hatched zones, wheel stops and signage. The car park opens finished.

The Gulf specifics

Built for the heat

Asphalt handles sun well but hates water trapped under it. We plan falls, gullies and drainage at the survey so storm and irrigation water leaves the surface instead of undermining it. We choose binder grades for Gulf temperatures, so the surface stays stable through a 50 degree summer.

Good to know

Questions we get asked.

Tarmac or resin for my villa drive?

Resin if the look matters, tarmac if the budget or the area is the constraint. Both last when the base is right. We price both at the survey so you can compare honestly.

Can you just repair the potholes?

Yes, if the base is sound. If the failures keep returning, the honest answer is that patching is money down the drain, and we will tell you so at the survey.

Do you handle the line marking too?

Yes, our own teams do it, so the surface and the markings are one job, one warranty conversation, one point of contact.
